High Flow Dry Chemical Product Description
High flow fire extinguishers for applications where discharge rates exceeding one pound per second are required as specified in NFPA 10 section 5.5.1 and intended for hazards including pressurized liquids and gases, three-dimensional fires and obstacle fires requiring a minimum flow rate of 1lb per second. Three-dimensional fires are specific risks involving class B materials in motion, such as pouring, flowing, or dripping and include vertical and horizontal surface. These extinguishers utilize the same hardware and are manufactured to the same UL specifications as Victory compliance-rated products.
High Flow stored-pressure dry chemical extinguishers in this product line are constructed using high-strength drawn carbon steel. Each extinguisher is equipped with a metal valve assembly, offered in either brass-plated versions for heavy-duty applications or anodized aluminum for light to medium duty. Every valve includes heavy-duty stainless-steel levers and a tethered stainless-steel pull pin for durability and reliability.
All models are UL-listed for operation within a temperature range of –40°F to 120°F and are backed by a 6-year manufacturer’s warranty.
